The original kitchen had gas appliances, slippery floors,. The management had concerns over staff moving large , heavy volume cooking pans while in service.

The owners decided to take swift action, and CKP organised a complete strip out and re development. The client wanted a lay out that worked efficiently , reduced requirement of large heavy pans, gas appliances replaced with modern electric equipment and a new slip resistant floor.

As this was a major project for the care home the work was planned to minimise disruption a temporary kitchen facility was provided.

Then the kitchen was stripped to bare floors and wall. As part of the complete redesign , new mid height wall were installed , to define separate zones for Cooking , Prep work , Washing and Storage for both dry and refrigerated goods.

A complete new commercial kitchen extraction / ventilation system was then installed design specifically to suit the new all electric cookline and the addition of new Rational I Vario and Combi Steam Oven.

Scope of works included new slip resistant flooring, hygienic wall cladding , condensate canopy and full install of new commercial kitchen cookline , dishwash and food preparation equipment to new bespoke stainless steel fabrications .

All delivered to agreed timescale and budget
